Hurricane Ike

Each friday I show off a piece of art, music or photography from an artist that I have found. If you have someone that you love, or a piece that makes you feel creative, let me know – I’m always looking for great new creative minds!

Today, the image marks a prayer for safety of all those in the way of Hurricane Ike. Although beautiful (as shown by the photograph below, taken by Pastor Rob Casey), we all know their scary power. To all those in Florida, Louisiana and Texas – be safe!

That is *incredible*. What a shot.

While this is, indeed, an amazing photo, it is not an image of Hurricane Katrina, Ike, or any other hurricane – http://www.snopes.com/photos/natural/storm.asp. Whether hurricane or tornado, it is a beautiful and scary photo!

Amazing photo! Thanks for sharing! We are safe in Austin, with my in-laws from Houston. We appreciate the prayer!

Thanks to Laura – Never having seen either, I based it on the fact that the photo had shown up under a flickr search for Hurricanes…- I appreciate the correction, I will know for the future :)
