Is one sentence enough?
Sometimes the best way to start your creativity is to read someone else’s. Twitter is one of my favorite social media sites, and I love reading the tweets of my followers and those I follow. Often they share great url’s, funny stories, and business motivation. Now I have found another site with some fabulous creative stories to stem my creativity - in the same style as twitter (kind of)! One Sentence allows the everyday person to submit a story about their life, as long as it’s one sentence long. Some are sad, some are funny, but all of them are creative! The owner of the site reads all submission and then chooses the ones that actually end up. I loved the idea, and submitted my own (keeping my fingers crossed that it will get picked!):
She started the ignition, jammed it into gear and drove like hell, hoping if she drove faster, the sadness couldn’t catch her.
*99% of the time I am a very happy person, but even the happiest of us are tracked by sadness sometimes.*
