Last week, I met with my attorney to get the paperwork filled to make Wright Creativity officially an LLC!
Of course, as excited as I am, I am also absolutely terrified. It means it’s real. It means that I have to make it work. There is no turning back. There is no pressing undo. I am officially a business owner. *eek!*
Thanks to everyone who has supported Wright Creativity by reading and keeping up with me. I appreciate it and the support really enabled me to take this leap and go after my dream.
And of course, if you or someone you know is looking for website/blog design or blog management/copywriting services, you know where to send them!
Speaking of, check out my new cards I designed to take with me to Blogworld! I am looking for a printer who knows how to handle black matte printing, on extra heavy cardstock. I did a similar design for my first biz cards, and the black really didn’t turn out right. So if you know someone who does a great job, let me know!

Can you share the thought process WHY you opted to form an LLC? Tax reasons obviously, but any specifics?

Ari,
It was a long and thought out decision between myself, my lawyer and my accountant. An LLC gives me the protection I need without the added expense of an S corp. In addition, I work from a home office, and it is easier to do office deductions with an LLC. Basically, we weighed cost vs protection and an LLC made the most sense. Thanks for asking about it!
Congratulations.
I admire your forthrightedness.
